Thriving Despite Neglect

My garden didn't have the easiest of summers.  With months of traveling under my belt, the dirt stayed clean from under my fingernails.  And yet, despite the neglect, the overgrown weeds, and the general disregard; I can home to a bed full of beautiful flowers smiling up at the sunshine.  And while there is more than needs to be pulled than is in bloom, I'm appreciating each day that I can squeak out of the remaining flowers, watching as the butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds continue their daily visits.
