The Charm of Manteo North Carolina

Manteo is one of my favorite stops in the Outer Banks.  A charming little town, the waterfront area seems to be stuck in a long ago time when people arrived by boats and dinner was caught on the water each day.  Manteo is nestled along the Shallowbag Bay just off of Roanoke Island.  It's a tiny place, with less than a few thousand residents.  The waterfront area offers adorable bed and breakfasts, small time delis, and fun boutiques.  We spent a cold and windy afternoon following the shore of the bay, ducking in and out of the wind.  I took my time, shooting with my Lensbaby Edge, looking just for that coastal charm that makes Manteo so special.
