Sunset in Carlsbad | SoCal Trip Part 12

Just as I was finishing cooking dinner in the condo, I could see the magic happening.  The cloudy sky began to part, the colors coming in strong.  By the time I could grab my gear and run down to the beach, the sky was a spectacular shade of orange and the overcast conditions were completely gone.  I barely had time to focus, as the sun was dropping fast.  A lone sailboat floated along the shoreline, having what I am certain were the best seats in the house for the show.
