The clouds had been hanging on most of the day.  May Grey had really defined itself today.  My gloomy mood matched the skies as the end of our trip was near and I hadn't captured all of the magic I had hoped.  We set out for the Oceanside Pier to "at least take some long exposures."  Despite the conditions, the beaches were crowded on a Friday evening, filled with tourists and locals kicking off their Memorial Day weekend celebrations.  But, I was able to find a little spot where the beach was all my own.
