During our weekend visit to Mount Hood, Tamanawas Falls was a must stop destination. A simple, short hike along Cold Spring Creek ends at the towering 110 foot Tamanawas Falls. Flowing over a basalt cliff into a basin of moss covered rocks, Tamanawas is beautiful and popular. Fortunately we beat much of the crowd and had a few moments of quiet along the banks of the waterfall.
