An Evening at Lantern Asia

Lantern Asia is the big news around here.  It's been drawing record crowds to Norfolk Botanical Gardens for the past 6 weeks.  This weekend, there was a notice up on the Garden's website that they physically couldn't fit another person in to see the exhibit.  And yet, it's over.  It's time for the exhibit to pack up and move to it's next location, expanding it's popularity across the country.

We caught the exhibit on an early night.  The temperatures had just warmed enough for us to tolerate the chill.  The crowds were there, but not nearly what they became over the course of the exhibit.

I much preferred the exhibits at night, when the Lanterns glowed and the colors jumped out form the black backdrop of night.
