Warm Winter Walk in Norfolk

When Mother Nature surprises you with a day in the mid 60s right before what is forecasted to be a weekend full of snow, you grab your best photography friends and your camera and hit the pavement.  We set our sights on the Pagoda and the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding the Norfolk waterfront.

We meandered slowly, stopping along the way to photograph what moved us, looking for lines, light, and juxtaposition.

Apparently I was drawn to the ivy growing all along the trees, buildings, and homes.  It's tangled beauty shining green in the late afternoon sun against the pale winter landscape.
