City to Sea: Capturing the Beauty of Monte Bello Open Space Preserve

2019.01.01 Hike Monte Bello Open Space Preserve © Jennifer Carr Photography-6.jpg

Monte Bello Open Space Preserve is home to Black Mountain, the mountain for which the nearby city Mountain View is named. From the top of Black Mountain, we had a view all the way to the Pacific Ocean and of the entire Santa Clara Valley in the other direction. We were a little early for the wildflowers, but we did spot a beautiful patch of colorful Indian Paintbrush.
