Under the Redwoods at Muir Woods

Muir Woods-2.jpg

Muir Woods is known as a must see for anyone traveling to the San Francisco area. When my cousin came to town, we were finally able to score a coveted reservation for the parking lot and avoid the hassle of riding a shuttle bus. While the trees were truly spectacular, the crowds were thick. I still prefer the solitude of Big Basin rather than the national monument.
