Panning at Kite Point

Saturday dawned grey and cloudy but cleared into a blue sky beautiful day.  With the promise of a sunset worth delaying dinner, we spent the evening at Kite Point in Buxton.  Forrest kited the incredibly high winds as I kept myself tucked warmly into the truck, shooting through the open window.  As the sun dipped below the horizon, the incredible color of the sky only began to glow brighter and brighter.  It seemed the perfect time for a panned long exposure showing off the beautiful watercolor display.
