Sunset at Chick's Beach | Virginia Beach Family Portraits

The Bowman family visited Virginia Beach for a cheerleading competition.  While in town, we met near the Lynnhaven Fishing Pier at Chick's Beach for their very first family portrait session.  I had been warned ahead of time that the littlest Bowman took a while to warm up to strangers, so I arrived fully prepared in my Mickey Mouse tee shirt with all of my tricks up my sleeve.  She was smiling and giggling in no time, posing like a super model.  The whole family looked beautiful in their blue and white outfits and they matched the beach perfectly.  They had hoped for a photograph with a pretty sunset in the back drop and boy did Mother Nature deliver!  It was the perfect night for a family portrait session!

The Bowman family portraits were taken at the Chesapeake Bay in the Chick's Beach neighborhood of Virginia Beach at sunset.
