Sunset at the Kirkland Waterfront

One of the things that I love about our little town is it’s proximity to Lake Washington. Growing up in coastal Virginia, whether it was ocean, lake, bay, or river- there was always a body of water nearby. The shores of Lake Washington are just a short walk from our apartment and one I certainly don’t do as often as I should. But, on this particular evening, I visited just in time to see a brilliant colorful sunset illuminate the skies and silhouette the city of Seattle across the water.
