Scenes from a Misty Morning Sunrise on the Outer Banks
Jennifer Carr
The thing about photographing sunrise is that you can't predict it. As hard as you study the weather forecast the night before, you really have no idea what you will find once the sun starts lighting the earth. On this particular morning at the beach in Avon, the wind was blowing a strong sea mist off of the water creating an incredible haze. Combined with the pinkish hue of sunrise, this made for an incredibly unique morning. I alternated between using a normal lens and my Lensbaby Edge 80 to add to the already interesting scene.
