Pink Cherry Blossoms in Virginia Beach

There's a hashtag on Instagram that says #ipulledoverforthis.  This cherry blossom tree certainly fits that category.  I spotted it in Virginia Beach out of the corner of my eye on the way home from a lesson at Fort Monroe one afternoon and knew I had to pull over and photograph it.  I used the Lensbaby Velvet 56 to give the edges of the photograph a dreamy blur and allow the clusters of blossoms to be the center of the focus.  The tree itself had something of a dream like quality with it's beautiful pink blossoms.  I missed the peak of the cherry blossoms at Red Wing Park so I was grateful to have found my own private display.
