Metro Center in Black and White

I love riding the subway.  There is just something about the time it takes to ride the trains.  I could sit and read, but most of the time, I watch.  My favorite part is when we're underground.  I'm forced to watch the patterns and textures.  The shadows and light.  I'm sure it would become monotonous if it were part of my regular routine, but now, I never tire of it.

And then there are the people.  I imagine their stories, where there are coming from and where they will go.  What are they carrying?  Are they alone?  Who is waiting for them at the end of the line?
