Kent | Kempsville High School Class of 2018
Kent's senior portrait session was a very special session for me. Our family history goes back generations to when his grandfather and my dad were best friends growing up. As the years went on and they both graduated from Kempsville High School, they married their high school sweethearts and built families. I grew up with 3 best friends who were just like sisters to me, one of which is Kent's mom. We all graduated from KHS and Kent followed in our footsteps, carrying on the tradition of 3 generations. We've shared immeasurable family memories over the years, but being able to photograph Kent's senior portraits is an especially fond one for me. Kent is a talented baseball player headed off to play college ball so naturally he chose to include baseball in his senior shoot. We started at Kempes Landing Park, the former home of the Pony Colt baseball fields where all young Kempsville ball players stomped their cleats. And we ended on the baseball field at Kempsville High School, where I remember sitting as a fan cheering on the home team when I was Kent's age.
