Just Enough Time for the Sunset in the Grand Canyon

If you've noticed that things have been quiet around here, you're right.  Forrest and I recently packed up our lives and set off for the west coast where we have settled in Palo Alto in the San Francisco Bay area of California.  We rushed through 4 days of driving in hopes of spending a few hours in the Grand Canyon along our journey.  We pulled in just in time for sunset along the south rim.  Not having planned much ahead of time, I pretty much jumped out the moving truck and ran to the edge of the canyon.  Having no idea where to photograph the sunset in the Grand Canyon, I took a chance.  I had heard that no view was a bad view and that couldn't be more true.  Every way I turned was breathtakingly beautiful.  The sun dropped low and fast, painting the rocks an even brighter hue than I had imagined them.  I'm sure I looked like a mad woman, running along the canyon rim hoping to catch a slightly different view in a short amount of time. Prints are available for purchase in the print shop and also by emailing me.
