A Fiery Sunset | Cape Hatteras Photography
A fiery sunset never ceases to amaze me. On this particular evening, the winds were as fierce as the sky so I hid behind the safety of the truck to shoot this sunset progression. I used my Sony 100-400 mm lens to bring the sun closer and make it appear larger in the frame. I was in awe of the reflected sun, called an inferior-mirage and caused by different temperatures in the atmosphere as the sun passes through.
