The Family Pets | Virginia Beach Family Portraits

The beautiful Douglas family has been part of the JCP family for years.  I had the honor of photographing Dorothy's high school portraits as well as her head shots for acting school.  When Momma Douglas reached out to tell me that one of their beloved family pets was battling cancer and didn't have much time, we rushed to schedule a portrait session.  The December morning was cold and foggy at the north end of Virginia Beach but the family toughed out the weather in honor of their pups.  Sadly, they lost their beloved friend, Mary not too long after the photo shoot.  I'm so glad they'll always have the photographs to remember her by.

The Douglas' family portrait session was held on a cold winter morning at the north end beaches in Virginia Beach.
