On our winter trip to Yosemite National Park, when we weren't backpacking, we spent our time exploring the valley. We made laps around the loop, looking for pretty views in decent light and enjoying the gorgeous mountains surrounding us. And as mountaineers, we made sure we climbed a few feet up El Capitan, just so we could say we did.
