Birds at Sunset | Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge

2018.07.09-Sunset-at-Back-Bay-National-Wildlife-Refuge--Jennifer-Carr-Photography-1.jpg

I had just finished a photography lesson as the sun dipped below the horizon line in Virginia Beach's Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge.  It was too late to photograph the sunset, but at about the time I went to put my camera away, the sky filled with birds, swooping and chasing the bugs that had come with dusk.  The sky contained the orange and yellow color that comes after a beautiful sunset, and it offered the perfect silhouette view of the birds.

These images were created using the Sony a7rIII + 85 mm lens..
