Beauty Found in Nature | Adventures in Yosemite Part 4
Jennifer Carr
One of my favorite parts of our hiking adventures is stopping to appreciate the absolute beauty of nature. Something as simple as a fallen leaf is beautiful when you really consider it. Forrest appeases me, waiting patiently as I climb into various positions to see moss growing on trees or fungi on a fallen log. He listens as I wonder aloud why a tree died or what type of insect might be burrowed in the hole I just found. As a child, I wasn't into science. I preferred dolls and dresses to boots and dirt. But as an adult, my curiosity can't help but wonder about every little thing I see. Below is a collection of my favorite pieces of found beauty from our time in Yosemite.
