A Walk Under the Cherry Blossoms

Cherry Blossoms-1-2.jpg

Have you ever noticed how the cherry blossoms sneak up on you? One minute, you’re driving to the grocery store and the trees are bare. The next moment, you’re swerving through traffic as you steal glances of the trees lining the medians.

Sadly, though, the blossoms seem to disappear as quickly as they arrived. They are replaced with green leaves and hidden bird nests, the ground below them coated with the soft petals from the fallen flowers. Spring always reminds me of how important it is to savor each moment and to appreciate the present because it won’t linger and wait for us to pay attention.

These images were created with the Sony a7rIII and Sony 35 f1.4 GM lens.
