Redfish Lake is one of the most famous spots in the Sawtooth Range. When we spoke to the ranger, he warned us that the area was a “zoo.” So, we made sure to visit first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. The lake was quiet and still, the wind and boaters hadn’t created waves yet. We spent a few moments soaking in the view before heading off to our trailhead further down the road.
