A Sunset Stop on California Highway 1

We had planned to spend the evening shooting sunset at Shark Fin cove, but Karl the Fog had other ideas. So, we took the scenic route home, driving north on Highway 1 hoping for a break in the fog. Just south of Año Nuevo State Park, tucked in a little cove, we found sunshine and a handful of surfers. Forrest got to scope out a new surf spot, while I watched as the sun plummeted quickly towards the horizon.
