A Pair of Willets on the Beach

"A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be." ~ Douglas Pagels

willets, shorebirds, hatteras, outer banks

Life is wild.  We're constantly running from one moment to the next, hurrying to get it all done.  We're so busy crossing off "to-dos" that we forget to return phone calls, schedule time together, ask about each other's lives.  I'm certainly guilty of it.  But it's in those times that we stop, sit down with a friend, and really chat that we find the most peace.  The most serenity.  So, whether it's an email to an old friend, or a phone call to your aunt, or dropping by a friend's house while you're out running errands,  take time this week to make the effort.  I promise you'll feel a little more serene after you do.
